Today I inaugurate my new section called "WHAT THE HELL WERE THEY THINKING?"
I'm starting with the last Fall 2013 Haute Couture show.
Undisputed protagonist of this new section is Raf Simons for Dior. When he was drawing this collection, what the hell was he thinking?? It seems like that some clothes become caught between the drum and the door of the washing maching during the wash and have them put back together a few moments before the show!
Now let's talk about some tissues and clothes are ill-fitting.
These pictures speak for themselves.
In the category "The best is yet to come!".
No-sense looks. Meaningless combination: zero elegance nor good taste.
The perfect ending of a show marked by the end of the high quality of cuts and fabrics and the class that has always characterized the haute couture. A dress designed to suit the tastes of the mass: commercial, without the magic typical of haute couture.
Now let's turn the page. Maison Martin Margiela.
Same old story. Nothing new, nor surprising. Garments almost all non-wearable (except of course jeans).
In a word: claustrophobic.
