Fashion Week is
coming to an end, let's take a look at the proposals of the designers who took turns
on the catwalks of the Italian fashion capital.
Let's
start from the most interesting designers of day 1.

che la fashion week milanese volge
al termine possiamo dare uno sguardo alle proposte degli stilisti che si sono
alternati sulle passerelle della capitale della moda italiana. Incominciamo
dagli stilisti più interessanti della prima giornata.
Among the protagonists of day 1 of MFW stands out without
doubt Gucci. A sixties glamour revisited in a minimalistic tone. Fine
fabrics, clean lines and delicate palette are the success
factors of the wonderful collection proposed by Frida Giannini for the next
fall. What about accessories: protagonists of some outfits, in others twist
that make irresistible even the typical business suit.
Tra
i protagonisti della giornata spicca sicuramente Gucci. Un glamour sixties
rivisitato in chiave minimalista. Materiali pregiati, linee pulite e una palette delicata sono i fattori di successo
della meravigliosa collezione proposta da Frida Giannini per il prossimo
autunno/inverno. Che dire poi degli accessori: protagonisti di alcuni outfit,
in altri quel twist che rende irresistibile anche il tipico completo da
ufficio.
Let's continue with Fay, the brand led by the young
Italian designers Tommaso Aquilano and Roberto Rimondi. From Fay the classic
image of down horizontal stripes à la "Michelin Man" is disrupted.
The quilt jacket is divided into two parts, turning into a suit
jacket-skirt oblique bands. Even the varsity jacket, cult piece of
recent seasons, stretches and is embellished with soft white fur.

Fay, il brand guidato da i giovani
designer italiani Tommaso Aquilano e Roberto Rimondi. Da Fay la classica immagine
del piumino a bande orizzontali à la "omino Michelin" viene
stravolta. Il piumino si divide in
due parti, trasformandosi in un tailleur giacca-gonna a bande oblique. Anche la
varsity jacket, pezzo cult delle
ultime stagioni, si allunga e s'impreziosisce di morbida pelliccia bianca.
An enchanted forest
atmosphere relives from Alberta Ferretti. The designer from Cattolica
wants to describe through her collection for next autumn "the
metamorphosis of nature and woman." The feathers are a key
component of her last masterpieces, created in part by artisans in Florence
masters of these complex processes that involve them. A palette very fall, but
with vibrant hues. Sequins as the sunlight through the trees. Feathers
as the fascinating creatures that inhabit the forests. A Ferretti's woman a little
less ethereal, a little more real.
Atmosfere da foresta incantata si rivivono da Alberta Ferretti. La stilista emiliana
vuole raccontare attraverso la sua collezione per il prossimo autunno "la
metamorfosi della natura e della donna". Le piume sono la componente chiave dei suoi ultimi capolavori,
realizzati in parte a Firenze da artigiani maestri di queste complesse
lavorazioni che le coinvolgono. Una palette tutta autunnale, ma dalle tonalità
vibranti. Paillettes come la luce
del sole fra gli alberi. Piume come gli incantevoli esemplari che abitano le
foreste. Una donna Ferretti un po' meno eterea, un po' più reale.
A mix&match of
bourgeois Milan matrons, the name-calling "sciure", and
eccentric tomboys. This is the No.21's woman. A masterful use of floral
motifs, embroidery and opulent materials. The whole works under the
eccentric and irriverent lens of the "Made in Naples" designer.
Garments stolen from the male wardrobe paired with sequin top and
feathers skirt. Alessandro Dell'Acqua never stops to surprise us!
Un
mix&match di matrone borghesi
milanesi, le cosiddette "sciure",
e maschiacci eccentrici. Questa la donna di N. 21. Un mix che si riconferma vincente anche per la prossima
stagione. Un utilizzo magistrale di motivi floreali, ricami opulenti e materiali pregiati. Il tutto sotto la lente
eccentrica e irriverente dello stilista partenopeo. Capi rubati al guardaroba maschile abbinati a top in
paillettes e gonne di piume. Alessandro Dell'Acqua non smette di sorprenderci.
Afternoon goes on with a rock concert in New York. The event's
rock star is Fausto Puglisi. The pillars of his latest work are the
works of artists Kazimir Malevich and Sonia Delaunay, the Ballets Russes
and the Statue of Liberty. Vibrant colors, combined with mastery by young
designer Sicilian, inlays and opulent embroidery model on catwalk on the Led
Zeppelin and AC/DC songs, attracting the attention of everyone present involved
in what looks like a rock concert than a fashion show . Tutu skirts
alternate with soft plissé skirts, the typical black leather skinny is tinged
with pastel colors. Inevitable black leather jacket embellished by inlaid
geometric embroidery, in pure Puglisi style.
From backstage, the designer defines the collection "my
American Dream", indicating himself as the Frank Sinatra of fashion,
remembering the Sicilian origins of the legendary singer and actor of the '30s.
Si
prosegue il pomeriggio con un concerto rock a New York. La rock star in
questione è Fausto Puglisi. I
pilastri della sua ultima fatica sono le opere degli artisti Kazimir Malevich e
Sonia Delaunay, i Balletti Russi e
la Statua della Libertà. Colori vibranti, accostati con maestria dal giovane
stilista siciliano, intarsi e ricami opulenti sfilano in passerella sulle note
di canzoni degli ACDC e dei Led Zeppelin, catalizzando l'attenzione di tutti i
presenti coinvolti in quello che sembra un concerto
rock, più che una sfilata. Gonne tutù si alternano a morbide gonne
plissettate; il tipico skinny in pelle nera da rock star si tinge di colori
pastello. Immancabile chiodo di pelle impreziosito da intarsi e ricami geometrici, in puro stile Puglisi. Dal backstage
lo stilista definisce la collezione "il mio American Dream",
indicando sé stesso come il Frank Sinatra della moda, ricordando le origini
siciliane del leggendario cantante e attore degli anni '30.
The day ends with Francesco Scognamiglio's show. Scary is
the first adjective that comes to mind when I think about this show. The
designer makes the models wear a corset in thin neoprene, which goes from the
chin to the hips, made in conjunction with an engineer, in order to make the
models real living mannequins. All of this diverts attention from the outfits
which should have been the focus of the moment. The designer's predilection for
lingerie shines through the lace and transparencies of some pieces. The
fur is not the must of Scognamiglio's collection, as happened for the great
majority of the collections proposed by his collegues: barely visible on the
collar or sleeves of coats, if we exclude the three long coats.
La giornata si conclude
con lo show di Francesco Scognamiglio.
Inquietante è il primo aggettivo che mi viene in mente pensando a questa
sfilata. Il designer fa indossare alle modelle un corsetto in sottile neoprene,
che va dal mento ai fianchi, realizzato assieme ad un ingegnere, allo scopo di
rendere le indossatrici dei veri e propri manichini viventi. Tutto ciò
distoglie l'attenzione dai capi che avrebbero dovuto essere il focus del
momento. La particolare predilezione dello stilista per la lingerie traspare dai pizzi e dalle trasparenze dei capi. La pelliccia ormai must della stragrande
maggioranze delle collezioni proposte, da Scognamiglio non la fa da padrona:
appena accennata sul colletto o sulle maniche dei cappotti, se si escludono i
tre lunghi cappotti.
