TREND: The plaid army!

Here I am!

Let's try one more time to blogging about my biggest passion: fashion!

Moving to Milan has changed my perception of style and above all it has changed my whole life.. Changing habits and friends put me to the test and partly weakened. But now here I am, trying to get up and pursue my dreams.

Let's start a new era for my blog, starting with the fresh look of my logo at the hands of my brilliant brother. What do you think?

I created new sections that will become weekly appointments and part of our daily digital habits.

The first section is dedicated to the trends of the moment and what better way to introduce in this section if not the strongest trend of the season: Plaid!

Plaid is everywhere and it looks good on everybody. With a simple shirt or scarf, the outfit changes completely. Symbol of grunge culture and synonym of sloppiness, the plaid print was used on tailored dresses, which make the extremely elegant plaid pattern, in contraddiction with the typical image associated with grunge.

Eccomi!

Proviamo ancora una volta a scrivere della mia più grande passione: la moda!

Trasferirmi a Milano ha cambiato la mia percezione dello stile e soprattutto la mia vita.. Cambiare abitudini e amici mi ha messo a dura prova e in parte indebolito. Ma ora eccomi quì, che provo a rialzarmi e perseguire i miei sogni.

Diamo il via ad una nuova era per il mio blog, partendo dal cambio di look del mio logo ad opera del mio geniale fratellino. Che ne pensate?

Ho creato nuove rubriche che diventeranno appuntamenti settimanali e parte della nostra quotidianità digitale e social.

La prima sezione è dedicata ai trend del momento e quale modo migliore di inaugurare questa sezione se non con il trend più forte della stagione: la stampa plaid!

La stampa plaid è ovunque e sta bene proprio a tutti. Grazie ad una semplice camicia o sciarpa, l'outfit cambia completamente. Simbolo della cultura grunge e sinonimo di trasandatezza, la stampa plaid viene ora utilizzata anche per abiti dal taglio sartoriale, che rendono questo motivo estremamente elegante, in contraddizione con la tipica immagine associata al grunge.

Fall 2013 Trends: style icons Amelia Earhart, Axl Rose, Janis Joplin

Good morning people!

Finally I restart blogging! ..Two weeks from the spring/summer 2014 Milan fashion week, I find myself thinking about some looks from fall fashion shows. I group the outfits depending on the style of the characters that have inspired their creations.

Let's start from Amelia Earhart.

Amelia was an American aviation pioneer. She was the first aviatrix to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean. Great sense of style.

Finalmente ho ricominiciato a scrivere sul blog! .. A due settimane dalla settimana della moda primavera/estate 2014 milanese, mi sono ritrovata a pensare ad alcuni look tra i miei preferiti degli show autunnali. Ho raggruppato gli outfit in base allo stile di alcuni personaggi che hanno ispirato la loro creazione.

Incominciamo da Amelia Earhart.

Amelia è una pioniera della aviazione americana. Fu la prima aviatrice a sorvolare in solitaria l'Oceano Atalantico. Aveva un gran senso dello stile.

"Take me down to the paradise city!" sang at the end of the 80s as the leader of one the greatest band of the history, the Guns' n Roses. Ladies and gentlemen, Axl Rose! Due to his powerful and wide vocal range and his energetic perfomances he has been named as one of the greatest singers of all time. In many of his appearances and performances Rose appears shirtless, with superskinny low waist pants and big aviator sunglasses: pure provocation, for those times!

"Take me down to the paradise city!" cantava alla fine degli anni '80 come leader di una delle più grandi band della storia, i Guns 'n Roses. Signore e Signori, Axl Rose! Grazie alla sua grande estensione vocale e alla sue energetiche perfomance, è considerato come uno dei più grandi cantanti di tutti i tempi. In molte delle sue apparizioni e perfomance, Rose si presentava a torso nudo, con pantaloni super attillati a vita bassa e grandi occhiali da sole da aviatore: provocazione pura per quei tempi!

One of my favourite singer and style icon, the inimitable Janis Joplin! I'm madly in love with her voice, so powerful to gives me goose bumps.. Then, I love her style. Psychelic prints, velvet, fur and lots of beads. Pearl as she was nicknamed by her friends, for her jewels.

Una delle mie cantanti e icone di stile preferite, l'inimitabile Janis Joplin! Sono follemente innamorata della sua voce, così potente da farmi venire la pelle d'oca. E poi amo il suo stile. Stampe psicheliche, velluto, pelliccie e tante perline. Pearl (perlina) come la chiamavano i suoi amici per i tanti fili di perline che indossava.
